Where the reference lives
On a TIE card it opens with the letter E followed by a run of digits (for instance E00000000) and is printed on the front or the reverse of the card.
On the green EU certificate it appears as the IXESP or C-number. On the older A4 certificates it is sometimes labelled "Nº de soporte" toward the top of the page.
What it is for
The reference is how digital services confirm it is really you — platforms such as Cl@ve, the national immigration portal and a host of Balearic regional websites all demand it. Without the número de soporte, those online steps simply cannot be finished.
In Mallorca
The Mallorca office sets the pace for the the número de soporte across the Balearic Islands. Our team books your appointment, checks your documentación, and walks you through the day itself.
